ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mordekhi v’Yisraela – Marc & Teresa Hiatt – are currently worship leaders at Or HaOlam (Light of the World) Messianic Congregation in Overland Park, KS (Kansas City). The couple has been leading worship together in churches, plus doing some outside travel and ministry, since the mid-eighties, and moved into the Messianic Jewish movement in 2002. Mordekhi is a keyboard player and writes the songs, Yisraela is vocalist and plays a djembe and other percussion. Guest artists from the congregation and also from the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City appear on the album, which was recorded at a studio near IHOP. Although not Jewish by blood, Mordekhi and Yisraela have a Jewish heart, that is, a heart for Israel and a heart for the Jewish people. The couple have two married adult children, a son and daughter, and three healthy and happy grandsons, ages 2, 6 & 11.

i loved this cd, i received it on a friday afternoon a week ago, and listened to it. I was soothed by the music and it ushered in Shabbat , this is a worthy contribution to the Messianic music field. A must have for all lovers of Davidic music.
My favorite song is Avinu Shebashamayim

This cd is amazing.....it is so annointed. I ordered it because I liked the music but it arrived when I needed it...it has lifted me up and given me the strength I needed to overcome. Thank you for being vessels of Elohim.

Rabbi
As the rabbi of the Or HaOlam Messianic Congregation, where Mordekhi and Yisraela serve, I want to say that they are stellar musicians and worship leaders. They understand the Messianic calling, and love the Jewish Messiah, the covenantal calling of our people, the Jewish genre of music, from Klezmer to Tel Aviv Israeli. Their CD reflects the skill and passion of their worship expression, and will augment any music library.
