ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ken Will Morton's debut album on Sojourn Records, produced by Mark Ambrosino at The Madhouse studio, sounds like a classic record with the type of songwriting one equates with household names, like Steve Earle, Paul Westerberg and John Prine. The fact that Ken is relatively unknown and penning and singing such elegantly crafted, yet raw and authentic songs, have us listening even closer. His road to here has not been an easy path, but it has been due to unadulterated perseverance which keeps Ken moving forward. He fits the mold of his forefathers in the rock/americana/folk genre but has created a unique style, instantly recognizable as it is unique and real. There is much loss and sadness in Ken's songs but he looks to the future with an odd optimism after having been through so much. Whether he's getting back up after a fall, setting his sights on redemption, or simply musing pensively, Ken clearly has a vision he plans on seeing through. This is an artist and arecording that is going to stand the test of time.
