Album Notes
VIRTUALITY merges the musical worlds of progressive metal, ambient, new-age and cinematic rock in a contemporary fusion of trance-inspired song structures. The thematic soundscapes of VIRTUALITY forge a dramatic and atmospheric listening experience without genre specific constraints while attaining a dynamic rarely heard in todays corporate musical climate.
The VIRTUALITY CD project encompasses a trilogy of inter-connected media concepts: the MUSIC (72-minutes of ambient, neo-progressive cyber rock soundscapes), the ART (an accompanying 16-page full-color booklet with lyrics, liner notes, abstract digital paintings and extenstive graphic art) and the PHILOSOPHY (defining the concept of Virtuality and tying in the art and music to Scott's personal ideology and socio-political rants, raves, tirades, observations and ideals). All in all, this is a distinct, diverse and dynamic release from someone who is not afraid to merge a hybrid of musical genre's, showcase his digital artwork, and share his spirited personal convictions, while maintaing his position as the original allroundniceguy™.

This CD is great!
The description given is very accurate - haunting, ambient, powerful, moody, with excellent production. This cd sticks with you - it has very memorable melodies, and successfully combines a lot of different elements into a cohesive sound.

Simply Awesome
A gotta have CD. Its amazing what sounds and Ideas come outta Scott.

An excellent disc that brings to life dreamy landscapes and realistic nightmares of desolation and submission to contemporary society. Scott does an incredible job on this disc using new age trance loops and synth, progressive elements, and vocals done by an obvious Yes/Rush fan. The guitar work is tasteful and full of feeling while the keyboard's add thick juicy layers of ambience to each song. The album isn't to crunch so as to turn off a non-metal fan while maintaining an intensity to keep hold of a metal fan. For fans of trance, progressive, rock, atmosphere ...killer disc!

A world class artist in CD BABY?
How to describe it? Maybe Rush meets Tangerine Dream?..., well, this is much better than Cyclone. Imagine an ambient version of Hold your Fire. This is the CD that made me discover CD BABY, and still is the best to me! Can't wait to get Inferno, its new follow-up. Believe me, this might be the work of a lonely wizzard in a studio (which is what it is, like so many others to be found here) but the Floyd would not have made it better with a zillion dollars' budget!

Unlike anything else I've heard
Here's a recipe for an experience unlike any other. First, go to your bedroom or living room...wherever you keep your stereo and pop in this CD. As it starts to play, turn off all the lights so that it is completely dark and just lie on the couch or bed and listen to this album all the way through. Let the music just flow through you and really EXPERIENCE it. Music like this is not meant to just be listened to while you're busy doing something else. This album is truly an EXPERICENCE that will send you on a musical journey unlike any other. Pure genious.

This man has talent !
Do you like Rush/Brian Eno ? This is what vein this cd is in, there is something for everyone here ! I have to put it right up there with some of the best of 2001 and this is coming from someone who is mostly into guitar, but guess what Scott can also play that well, as he proves it many times on this great cd !!!!
