ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The long anticipated debut of "Oh Wow!" by Mr. Nick & the Dirty Tricks is finally here. After a year of writing, recording, mixing & mastering you can now get your hands on this exceptional record. The core band of Nick David on Vocals & Harmonica, "Lonely" Gus Carlson on guitar, Teddy B on bass & Rick Rousseau on drums is joined by a who's who of world class Blues musicians to help mold this record into the beast that it is. This record was produced by one time front man for the Robert Cray Band & for Roomful of Blues as well as one of the best blue eyed souls singers and harp masters on the planet Curtis Salgado and monster keyboard player for the Duke Robillard Band, the incredibly talented Bruce Bears. The record features them both throughout it in addition to guitar legend Junior Watson, Roomful of Blues sax man Mark Earley, renowned trumpet player Scott Aruda and Love Dogs trombonist Mark Paquin. The record is beset with sure-fire originals and a few hand picked gem cover tunes.
