what can I say... M&R Rush's newest cd, Alpha, has got to be their best work yet !!!!
If the rockin songs don’t get your attention, the ballads surely will. My favorite song is
"Working to pay the man"..... I predict this song will take them to the top of the charts !
If your a romantic.. "Loved by you" will definitely bring a tear to your eye...
make sure you get your copy of Alpha. you wont be disappointed...I promise...

The "Alpha" CD is not 70's or 80's rock this is Modern Classic Rock!
The Alpha CD/Video is state of the art; this is M&R Rush’s finest work to date. The songs are well written - the recording, engineering, mastering and finished product blew me away. I’ve had the privilege of working with Marty building a Beat Boogie Custom drum kit for him - it was a long process to get him what he wanted. Listening to the entire CD & viewing the video - all I can say is fasten your seat belts because you’re in for a ride - it is HOT!

Best wishes,
Steve Crabtree

A Mix of Bon Jovi / Giuffria / April Wine - Strong Production
Chicago rockers M&R Rush has left the 70´s sounding pomp/AOR from their previous albums and tuned into a more 80´s AOR/classic rock sound on the new album "Alpha". It´s got a strong production no doubt and I do love their cover of Autograph´s "Turn up the radio", great choice. The first track "He´s a different breed of kat" bring thoughts to the Bon Jovi (New Jersey/Slippery when wet) era, the verse is cool. The song "The hour of the wolf" is really good and sounds like a mix of Giuffria and April Wine, This is a solid band and the new album is a safe buy if you dig their other stuff.

This is another fine set of music from the guys that rocked the high schools of Illinois & Indiana!!
"Turn up the Radio" is a great rocker.....turn it up!!!
The guys are sounding just as good as they did playing Chicago Fest on the barge @ Navy Pier!!
This is some serious eargasm music.
Keep on Rockin'

Great Rock!
The originals are great. The louder the better. The cover of Turn up the radio is better than the original. My two favorites are different breed of cat (the video is hilarious) and Working to pay the man.

Great New Music
This album will elevate you. It is wonderful to hear great new music, as well as a nice cover. Keep on Rockin in Chicagoland!

A Giant Leap Forward!
M & R Rush takes a giant leap forward with the new Alpha CD. To date,...it is their Sgt. Pepper. It is a mixture of R & B rock, classic rock, and a great accoustic track. The band is known for their power driven guitars,...dominate keyboards, and signature harmonies. All of these trademark characteristics are present on the rocker Hour of The Wolf. Breed of Kat and Hotter Than Hell are a couple blues rockers with catchy, clever hooks. Sometimes She Cries is the accoustic track that sounds like it could fit in on the Beatles White album. My new favorite, Working To Pay The Man, gives the band a new style,...a rough, edgy, mixture of Bon Jovi, Collective Soul, and Styx. This band has definatley paid their dues , survived the long run, and has come out on top in a tough , competive music industry. Alpha puts the exclamation point on a phenominal career by these six musicians.
