Album Notes
Rap-Notes: Shakespeare's Greatest Hits (vol.1) is the stories of five of Shakespeare's most popular plays written in rap and rhyme. They are Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream and King Lear.

Think 50 Cent meets CliffNotes to bring you William Shakespeare to take the fear out of reading the archaic language of Shakespeare. If there's a more fun way to pass your English Literature test, I don't know what it is.

Recorded in a NYC studio by the talented rappers, Noodle and Hennessy, Rap-Notes: Macbeth is not only entertaining, but it's educational. So you'll get smarter while you get a few laughs.

Shakespeare Made Simple
I love listening to the rappers lay out the stories of Shakespeare in these clear and concise raps.
Its easy to just lie back and let the story play out as if you are watching a movie for your ears.
Mr. Z has distilled Shakespeare's stories down to their core essence and kept the flavor of the language and the intensity of the dramas. It's wonderful to hear them and be reminded of the human dilemmas and struggles that Shakespeare wrote about so long ago, and now in this new rap version, it is easily understandable, and nothing of the original intent is lost or diminished. Thank You Mr. Z!

Inspired current vision of Shakespeare
Mr. Z's condensed version of the traditional Shakespeare makes it easy for anyone to appreciate the drama and the lessons of the old bard. Through rap and rhyme, Mr. Z takes us through the most popular stories of Shakespeare. He remains true to the original drama and all the important broad strokes of the story remain intact. It is fun to listen to the raps and they are easy to understand. This new way of rapping the dramas of Shakespeare will inspire many listeners to reach for the original works. It is a very creative and useful tool in helping young readers understand a story or plot that can often be complex and take a long time to grasp. The Raps themselves are wonderfully poetic and help the listener begin to appreciate any story told through meter and rhyme. These raps are highly innovative and can open Shakespeare to a whole new audience of people young and old, who otherwise may have never recognized the wisdom of the original writing. People have a chance now, to have the whole story unfold, clearly and accurately and can then go to the original writing, with a new appreciation of all Shakespeare had to offer. Thank you Mr. Z!

Mr. Z's raps make understanding Shakespeare fun and easy. They are written, and sung (rapped) in such a cool way that you can't help but sit back and let the stories of Shakespeare unfold. Its like listening to a movie for your ears. Never thought Shakespeare could be so cool.
