Listen up!
You don't have to love New Orleans to love this tune (though if you do, you surely will). Skillfully written lyrics, the irresistible Papa John Gros on piano and vocal, and a strong sweet infectious groove. After just a couple of plays it was already running in my head and I was humming it later: the mark of a well-written tune. A paean to NOLA and its people, it could easily become the unofficial anthem of New Orleans (or maybe even the official one!). Don't be surprised if this one goes viral. Hoping for more from Tom Lerner.

Makes me want to go to NOLA!
Mr. Zanzibar has captured the sound, feel and spirit of New Orleans in this incredibly well written, produced and performed tribute. I spent 4 fantastic days there years a go stranded with a band, listening to live gigs day and night. Now, I've got to get back!!
