ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born in Eveleth, Minnesota, Jim Muhich first picked up a guitar at age 15. Learning to play by ear, it wasn't long before this "coffee shop poet" found that creating his own music felt more natural than playing someone else's tunes.
Influenced by his favorite bands (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Phish, Foo Fighters, you get the idea), Jim has developed a musical style that's a grungy-poppish kind of sound...frolicksome yet focused, catchy yet creative.
Jim lives a tropical lifestyle on an island in the Central Pacific, where he writes his songs, strums his guitar, and plays on the beach.
In "nevertheless," Jim's fluidly natural acoustic style gets a jolt of electricity as he explores a world where delicate melodies fuse with bold grunginess.
A new album is in the works, from Jim's band Late Nite Lizards. The album is less electronic than "nevertheless" with more of a rockin' groove.

For a good time, listen to nevertheless! I bought this CD directly from Jim (on Kwajalein) and it totally rocks!
