It is for music and playing like this that the piano was invented!
Although I am not usually a fan of late Romantic reworking of classical pieces, these interpretations of this beautiful Viennese music allow the full character and range of the piano to be expressed.
Having been to Vienna, I can confirm that Albert's sensitive rendition of these magical pieces really take me back there, and this CD should be listened to with full concentration (definately not as background music) preferably with a cup of good coffee and a piece of apple Strudel!
