ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is original jazz/pop/alternative music featuring Murl Allen Sanders on accordion and piano and Warren Rand on saxophone. Murl's music is emotional, accessible and virtuosic with elements of jazz, pop, blues, zydeco, latin and R&B. Murl and Warren are joined by two world-class musicians from the Pacific Northwest, Clipper Anderson on bass and Mark Ivester on drums. "Stories of Lucile" is mostly instrumental music but features Murl's vocal on Sting's "Fields of Gold".

Murl's unique "zyfusico" accordion style is featured throughout "Stories of Lucile". Murl is an award-winning composer and instructor, as well as a virtuoso accordionist and pianist.
