Album Notes
I don't really write songs. I wait for the moment when some catalyst inspires me to capture a song. In this case I was driving home on the highway and it hit me that "We're Running". The words started to appear and I called myself at the office and left a message.

It's turned into a very well received song and a great song to jam to as evidenced by the outstanding musicians on this track. Great solos by Elissa Jones on violin and John Sheehan on guitar. Great backup rhythm section with Robert Kopec on bass and Billy Paschall on drums. And it was Robert who during the recording session suggested Elissa do pizzicato on the violin which turned into the opening of the song and background during John's guitar solo. E.C. Lorick and Elissa Jones do background vocals. I'm truly honored to have these outstanding musicians join me on the song.

Special thanks to E.C. Lorick for the final mix and to Frank Costantino for donating his studio for the individual tracks. Graphic design by Marjorie Corbett.

I've donated all sales of my songs to Music for Humanity a 501c-3 not-for-profit I Co-founded in 2005. So if you buy 'We're Running" 90.9 cents of each sale is a donation to Music for Humanity. Please also check out "The Tree Song" and "The Brown Cow Song".
