Album Notes
Hi! My name is Haley Richardson. Two years ago whilst visiting friends Lindsay and Brian O'Donovan in Boston, I learned about a charity CD that Lindsay had produced which included legendary musicians whom have strongly influenced my playing. Lindsay's idea was very thought provoking and I decided I wanted to do something similar. I contacted musical friends under the age of 21 and asked if they would be interested in contributing a track to a CD that would benefit other children. I received an overwhelmingly positive response and within weeks the project was underway.

I was introduced to the Mercy Centre by friends Mick Moloney and Donie Carroll three years ago, and since then have contributed toward many fundraisers for the cause. The Mercy Centre rescues abused and neglected children, many who have been born with the HIV virus, from communities in the slums of Bangkok. The Mercy Centre is everything for those who have nothing.

I would like to thank Lindsay, Brian, Mick, and Donie for their inspiration, Gabriel Donohue--our sound engineer, and Patrick Finley for his work on the art for the album.

This project would not have been possible without the musicians involved: Ademar O'Connor, An Crann Óg, Colman Connolly, Dylan Richardson, Gráinne Buckley, Ronan Buckley, John Paul Reynolds, Josie Coyne, Rory Coyne, Emily Safko, Livia Safko, Keegan Loesel, Nia Byrne, Sarah O'Gorman, Ellen O'Gorman, Seamus O'Gorman, Patrick Finley, Hollie Greenwood, Sarah Ling, Quinn Bachand, Senan Moran, and Young Traditions Vermont. Thank you all and thank you to all of the sound engineers who recorded them.

Most of our music is traditional Irish music but there are some surprise bonus tracks in there as well! Hope you enjoy our music and thank you for your support of our project and The Mercy Centre!
