Album Notes
Born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1958, Children’s Recording Artist, songwriter, teacher, and Early Childhood Music Consultant Margie Warner has a unique understanding of what makes kids tick. Margie has been teaching the joy and humor of life through music since 1979. For Pre-K and Special Ed students, she offers her “Music with Margie” preschool curriculum. As “Puppetunes”, she partners with long time friend and arm-rod puppeteer, Maria Otfinoski to bring social development programs to Elementary Schools. She also teaches parent/teacher workshops on transitional, thematic, and multi-sensory techniques for the classroom.

Margie enjoys writing her own story-songs for families, and performing them at schools and libraries. She started Music with Margie Productions in 2005, and has published two CD’s of her own music under that label. Her first CD, “Singin’ Round the Campfire”, had these reviews:
The Hartford Courant: “Delightful”; New Haven Register: “Joyful songs with storytelling lyrics that invite participation”; The Middletown Press: “lively & fun; kids of all ages will enjoy…hilarious!”

Hobbies incorporate both music and charity work together. She is the Chairperson and Co-Founder of The Sound & Spirit Concert Series, bringing International Music locally in order to raise funds for global causes through the United Church of Chester. She is also an alto in their choir. Margie also loves to sing “grown-up” music, so lends her voice to many local charity concerts. She is a team leader for the Shoreline Soup Kitchens, and has been on a Chester “team” since its inception in 1992. She is a proud member of The Connecticut Storytelling Center in New London, CT, and a member of ASCAP as both a songwriter and publisher.

"Singin' Round the Campfire with Margie", is a call back to the hearth for all families to enjoy. A magical mix of traditional camp songs, integrated with new, hopes to spark enjoyment in the hearts of children long after the embers have died down...

My 4 and 2 year old both love these song!
My 4 and 2 year old received this CD for a present and we've been listening to it non-stop since in the car. The songs are easy to sing along with and they both love them.

Singin Round the Campfire with Margie
All 4 of my children love this cd which is funny because their ages are 2,8,10 and 13!!! The sexes are split 50/50 which shows that this cd appeals to both boys AND girls. I HIGHLY recommend this for the car. My 2 year old especially loves Herman the Worm and Sock Monsters and is constantly singing those two songs to her dollies.

Margie ROCKS!
Margie is contagiously joyful! A great CD to keep the kids happy in the car or at home, the whole family will be "singin' round the campfire" before you know it!

My daughter love this CD!!!
My two year old hates being in the car. Now, even before I get her strapped in, she's asking for the margee songs. My ride to work with her is peaceful now, for the first time. She didn't even cry today during the separation while my mother took her, because we put on the margee songs.

The kids laughed out loud
My 4 children ages 2-7 ask to hear this cd over and over and over. Ear-Wiggie and Sock Monsters are thier favorites. They loved this cd from the first time they heard it.

This CD is a MUST HAVE!!!
My 18 month old daughter absolutely loves this cd. Whenever we are in the car, she loves to sing along and just playing it relaxes her if she's cranky. If I start singing the songs to her at home, she instantly says "car! car!" Plus, it's the first children's cd that I don't mind hearing over and over again. I don't know how we got anywhere in the car before this disc and I can't wait for the next one. Brilliant!

Catchy fun lyrics make this a must have for young ones!
Prior to this CD, Inside Out by Jessica Harper used to be the most requested music by my kids. Singing Round the Campfire is now the most requested CD in the house and car. Each of my kids, 4, 5 and 8 have their favorite songs and they are easy to sing along to. The catchy fun lyrics amuse my kids in the car and around the house. I definitely recommend picking this up. Your kids will too be singing along with Margie!

Get Ready!! Here Comes Margie!!
Margie puts that old spark back into music for children. Singin Round the Campfire with Margie is played in my preschool class just about everyday. This CD has it all. Get ready to tap those toes. Margie's music adds joy and laughter to my class. What could be better? Thanks Margie for sharing your passion with all of us.
