I couldn't be more pleased. MW deserves all the stars available and a pocketful of moon rocks as well. --Beverly Harris, Houston

Equal to the classic masters of jazz guitar
Indian Summer, jazz guitarist Mike Wheeler's debut CD in a quartet format, is wonderfully refreshing for Wheeler's mastery of the sound, feel, and style of classic jazz guitar masters. Wheeler's licks are tasty, purposeful, musical statements and the arrangements are cool, crisp, and manage to be innovative without losing the feeling of classic jazz. No speed for speed's sake alone, no unusual harmonies, no bizarre melodic distractions.
