ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My Girl My Whiskey & Me and Other Southern are proud to announce the band and label's debut "In The Ground." The album is a beautiful example of how tradition and innovation collide in a Pink Floyd-esque, Punch Brothers style bluegrass masterpiece. Carefully written and composed, the album is a prime example of the South-East's blossoming music community.

Originally from Naples, FL, MGMWAM relocated to Greenville, SC and have been gigging relentlessly since 2014. Earlier this year, the duo recruited violinist Robert Gowan from Wasted Wine, and together the three musicians recorded at Other Southern studio in Taylors, SC. Along with Josh Riley (Acoustic Bass) and songwriter Vilai Harrington (banjo), MGMWAM will embark on a year long tour across the county hitting all 50 mainland states within the year.
