Album Notes
"At the end of 2003, my brothers and I booked six hours of studio time near our hometown in Virginia. We were not planning to record a CD. We hardly ever get to play together anymore and thought it would be fun to record some songs by our good friend Pete Hamilton, an amazing songwriter who lives in London. We wound up cutting ten tracks! I took the tracks back to California and added some parts. Some of these songs have been around a long time (the final track was written when I was nine). I hope that you have as much fun listening to these songs as we had recording them." - Dave

A fine set of songs recorded with Dave's brothers
Dave got together with his brothers in the studio to play some songs together. His original intent was not to record an album, but this was the end result! There are some very thought provoking lyrics in this album. "Grateful" really gets one thinking about the things in life that are taken for granted. The title track is infectious. It looks like Dave and his brothers really had a good time putting this together. The production is good, but has more of a "demo" feel to it; more raw and live-sounding. The album was put together very quickly, and its "not overly polished" flavour gives it a positive character. Highly recommended.

Great songs. Easy listening.
This CD, Threads of Time, is great. I am a basket weaver so Weaving the Dream is a song that I and my weaving friends like to listen to while creating our baskets. The other songs are very nice, too. I have recommended it to others.
