Album Notes
Brooklyn, NY: Composer/Producer and President of MEII Enterprises Eugene Marlow, Ph.D., is pleased to announce an agreement between pianist Nada Loutfi and MEII Enterprises to reissue and publish her first solo piano album, “Nada Loutfi, Pianist,” originally released in 1997.

This album contains Johannes Brahms “Fantasien” (Opus 116) and French composer Paul Dukas’ infrequently performed “Sonata.”

Marlow pointed out “With this agreement, all three of Nada’s albums are now under one roof, so to speak. On May 7 MEII Enterprises released ‘Nada in Hamburg with Johannes Brahms.’ Ten years ago (2006) MEII Enterprises was proud to release her ‘Les Sentiments D’Amour’ (Feelings of Love) album, a CD of 20 short character pieces for solo piano in the French chanson tradition. This album received praise from 2004 Pulitzer-prize winning composer Paul Moravec.

“And now MEII has acquired the publishing rights to Nada’s very first album. It is a wonderful opportunity for audiences to taste her musicianship and interpretive artistry in one place.”

Nada added: “It is definitely an excellent choice to have all three of my albums represented in the MEII Enterprises catalogue, a company with a good production and distribution track record. In 2005 I collaborated with composer Eugene Marlow on his ‘Les Sentiments’ album. It resulted in a superb CD which was loved by all audiences I presented it to.

“It will be great to have more recordings dedicated to the music of Johannes Brahms in addition to my recently released ‘Nada in Hamburg with Johannes Brahms’ and the republishing of my first CD with music by French composer Paul Dukas. I trust this will be a successful endeavor and I look forward to more in the future!”
