Album Notes
Since l973, Nancy has been an inspired and inspiring singer/songwriter and respected healer and transformative workshop leader. She is also a mother and a devotee of Spirit and of Nature.
Her first album, Spirits Walking the Wind, brings forth her timeless, profoundly healing music, in spellbinding arrangements.
The music is co-created with the heart and artistry of such artists as Celtic and Andean harpist Ani Williams; baritone G. Valmont Thomas; woodwind artist Pat O'Scannell; Native American flute player, Sam Kurz; Richard Williams on guitars and keyboards and others. All are recording artists in their own right. The concerts featuring Nancy soloing with these artists are moving and uplifting.
This album has been greeted with widespread radio airplay, glowing media reviews, and raves from listeners, who listen to it over and over and over again, and many of whom buy several for gifts! Nancy Bloom has been interviewed about her music and her healing arts work on nationwide radio shows.

Now an award winning TV personality and producer herself, Nancy's life work encompasses two major currents:
HER MUSIC; (original songs and compositions, recording, co-creating with others, and performing), sound healing and toning, and now work on her second album.
THE HEALING ARTS WORK she has done professionally since l975: energy medicine, spiritual healing, soulwork, counseling, intuitive work, hypnotherapy, and Shamanic work, as well as transformational workshops and wilderness quests, incorporating the healing power of Nature and of chant, song and sound, (and, in the past few years, transformative television).
Her music is informed by and echoes all these areas of life. ALL HER WORKS ARE HEALING AND UPLIFTING IN NATURE. (See her website

Our Ancestors are in this music of.....
Spirits Walking The wind....That is exactly where I am when I listen to this C.D. It has become my resting sanctuary in my mind. As I listen to her voice and wisdom..I am strongfully lifted to a higher place..full of honor for the Earth, and all the reasons to be here. If i slip into "Life's" fear and sadness I am brought back to whole and reason when I listen to this c.d...It gives me the okay to be with my highest self and of course without the spirit there would be no self...and in the world that lives through Nancy...obviouselly there are "Spirits Walking The Wind.." whispers...the old ways are is the time, we must begin again..

Jim Fish - Poet/Lyricist/Historian

An auditory walk with our ancestrial connections.
It felt as my spirit was walking the wind when I secluded myself with the tones of this unique presentation out in terrain that once was a Kiowa stronghold. Truly thought provoking pieces; a credit to both the skill of each artist and material presented.
