ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Singer/Songwriter, Nancy Cassidy, is releasing her 8th CD collection of her songs, takes us another step closer to the music that resides in our hearts…a patchwork quilt of tunes that go from playful country, feisty old-timey, melancholy blues to romantic pop.
Nancy’s voice has never been smoother or warmer and takes you on an emotional journey that will open heart places like none other…although Roy Orbison, Lucinda Williams, and Judy Collins come to mind.
Tom Prasada-Rao’s production, acoustic guitar and harmony’s give Nancy’s songs Motown, Country and Southern sensibilities, and David Jacobs-Strain’s soulful guitar playing is stunning in its emotional depth. She again had the good fortune to be guided vocally by her long time friend and producer, Keith Greeninger. Ronny Crawford (drums) and Glenn Fukunaga (bass) create and hold down the diverse beats and elevate the songs to dance-able, dream-able and heart-throb inducing. Julie Bonk was Nora Jones’s piano teacher…the apple didn’t fall far from the tree…tasteful and beautiful!
