ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Our songs, I believe, are a songwriters bio or
history. They paint a picture of where we’ve been –
when and where they were conceived and our
interpretation of life’s situation at that time:
“Both Sides of Me” written in 1976 in a cabin in
Tennessee, trying to figure out life; “Lost in
Austin”, written in 1977, my first year in Austin is a
humorous take on breakups; "Love of My Life", written
in 1979 on my porch near UT worried about the status
of a relationship; “The Fish Song” conceived around
1992 after a night of partying and philosophizing with
an interesting woman named Mel; and "Inner Peace",
written in 2004 at home in Cedar Creek, trying to
figure out life."
