Album Notes
Natchez was born of a dream some thirty years ago. Jon Kent Meade and Stormin' Norman Atherton (Moose Atherton Jr.), besides being best friends, developed themselves musically: Norman on lead and Jon on rhythm guitar. They played in different bands but in 1995 officially formed the band Natchez. Natchez played in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area for five years, alot in the Southside Area, but later in the downtown Bricktown Area of Oklahoma City. In 2000, on New Year's Eve, while playing at a Biker Bar in South Oklahoma City, the drummer announced he was heading for California and the band broke up. In 2005 Jon Meade produced the Album Steel Horses: all original work with the help of Norman Atherton. One of the songs, "Stella" was selected by Genuine Motor Scooter Company of Chicago to sell it's version of the old Vespa Motorscooter across the USA.

Songdremer Records

Absolutely world class rock tracks! Where did Natchez esplode from?
These guys grew up on the rough southern road of rock and rock, crankin' the amps, 'til the roofs falls in.... Natchez's lead singer, Jon Meade, has got this casual throw away delivery that sucks you completely in! This rock and roll Natchez train is getting ready to rock the world. Don Knight, Nite jock with KUDU, the voice of Ventura County Baby. Rock On, Natches

TAXI says Natchez "Rocks like a big dog'"
TAXI, in reviewing the album "Steel Horses" by Natchez, says Natchez rocks like a big dog, and brings to mind Leonard Skynard and the Rolling Stones.

Classic Rock needs new Artists!!!
The bad thing about Classic that....all you get are the old acts. Nothing these guys....Natchez. Tired of the same old same old. Get this CD....Original tunes and great ones.
