Way’ is sure to please the most die hard aficionados aware of all the sub genres of blues music. During the past 6 years Nathan James and the Rhythm Scratchers have developed their brand of American music that sounds like no one else. As you listen to the tracks of this record you will notice the live, raw and spontaneous sound that is absent in most modern recordings. Their formula was simple: set up and play in the living room with an 8 track tape recorder, and press record! Special guests Carl Sonny Leyland on piano and young blues phenom Big Jon Atkinson on guitar, add to the sound on various cuts.
