ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
NED VAN GO
A refreshingly fresh album.Intriguing stories, at times teetering on quirk. The kind of songwriting that hooks me in. !We'll certainly be scheduling tracks over the coming weeks. Eddie O'Strange/ Hutt Radio/New Zealand

I really love this music, no matter how you want to call it! Theo Oldenburg & Johanna Bodde/Alt. Country Cooking Radio/Netherlands

What a great band! Full of vibrancy, excellent interplay and well balanced harmonies. Granny is a Racist just rocks along and the other tracks show the true musical diversity of this band. Go guys! Tony Bates/Highlands 100.7/Australia

I really liked your album and played and will play it later several times. Paul Van Gelder- Vara Radio-The

Ned Hill is mastermind behind this great band. He's a singer/songwriter in the best sense of the word, he writes beautiful sound vignettes based on his experience, evocative music that occasionaly borrow ideas from various sources, Dylan comes to mind. Ned's storytelling is expressive, you feel you can trust this guy and all the way his band cooks effortlesly behind him. Excellent stuff. Vasja Ivanovski-94.1 FM RADIO 2-Macedonia

Beer soaked roots rock with a sense of humor...Nashville Rage

Very Good CD. Play 1 or 2 cuts per week on Morning Drive. Jan Jonese- Allegheny Mountain Radio/West Virginia

With Marry a Waitress, Ned Van Go has captured the essence of "blue-collar philosophy" and set it to some mighty fine "blue-collar music". I Love this stuff!
Jeff Abbas - Program Director, KPVL Radio, Postville, Iowa

If Scott Miller and the Commonwealth had a little brother-band, it would be Ned Van Go. They even share the same musical influences: "Beer and Desperation." Metro Pulse-Knoxville

....blending the intensity of rock with the storytelling acumen of country and even hints of rockabilly. Ron Wynn-Nashville City Paper

This is a great album for those who like driving country with lots of power and a sense of humor. "Never Kissed a Girl' is a classic. Andy Dooley-Miller-KVMR-Grass Valley, California

Lots to like about this disk...
Saw them live and had to get the disk. Twangy sound and clever lyrics delivered with
plenty of hooks and smirks. Got to get more!
