Album Notes
In the late 1980's, David Cole Neely developed a love for the guitar and all the things you could create with it. Over the years, first learning to play the acoustic and then moving towards the electric, he learned to take the instrument and mold it into his own. Through his influences (including but not limited to: Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, NIN, StereoLab, Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash), he found a space between them where he could express his thoughts and hopes for the world in his music. Penning the name "Neel Cole" in 2002, he began a long and painstaking process of creating a large catalog of songs and tails birthed from his experiences in life, relationships, and the world around him. Over a 23 year span, and countless ups and downs during his career as a musician, David has found a place in which he is comfortable to finally release his view of all things in this world from his unique point of view. Joining up with Kenneth Simmons on bass in early 2018, and later adding Pedro Duquesne on drums, they strive to make a difference in this world through music!
