Neil Dover has a unique and unmistakable voice. If you've heard it then you know. If you've never heard it then you've never heard your favorite country songs sung the way their writers always dreamed. Neils guitar playing is unique like Waylon. Theres a lot of traditional sound in his songs and some sounds that have no root in tradition. The Texas Song isn't country at all. Its a rowdy love song for an Alabama Boy to the entire state of Texas.
Fifty Years is the song you hope somebody sings about you when you've been married Fifty Years
Midnight Auto Supply is a radio commercial for a guy who steals cars for a living. Its as loud as country can be without being Guns&Roses. Looking For A Woman is a heartrending song about a guy having a midlife crisis and trying to do the right thing.
Lose You Anna is a beautiful ballad about a girl you can't live without in Louisiana. Kiss Me Mama is barely country music. Its more like Tom Petty on meth.
