In 1966, Neil and his family moved to the U.S from Yorkshire, England. He has lived in such places as Seattle, St Louis, and now resides in Southern California.
Neil's family is no stranger to music and performing. His father Vince Ford, of Vince Ford and the Tycoons, toured Europe during the 1960’s.
Neil was honored to have served the County of Los Angeles as a Deputy Sheriff for 9 years until a work related injury forced him to retire.
Over the following years Neil has worked with some of the best musicians and writers in the Country Music world.
Neil has recently spent some time in Nashville and has been honored to work with one of the premier Country Music writers, Mack Vickery. Mack has numerous multi-platinum hits. Among the most recognizable is "The Fireman" by George Strait.
Neil has gained notoriety on the European country music scene and has been featured on BBC radio, Hospital Radio and others throughout Europe. Neil is a regular staple on the radio in Europe and a favorite in Yorkshire, England, Neil's birth place.
Neil's latest album is due out this summer. Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock! is expected to break the american market for Neil. With the backing of Sony/Atv Publishing, songwriter Mack Vickery, producer Joe Stammen and some of the best industry musicians and executives - we expect great things to happen.
