Album Notes
While Neil Wetzel is well-known in the Philadelphia/Lehigh Valley Areas, this CD marks his debut as a solo artist. Trained as a classical saxophonist as well as in jazz, there aren't many musical styles that Neil doesn't feel right at home in, and this collection attempts to showcase some of those styles.

From straight-ahead swing ("Day Gig") to ballad ("First Dance") to contemporary smooth ("An Inconsequential Life") to bebop ("Misunderestimated") and even to salsa ("Rosalita d'el Fuego"), Neil never fails to impress with his smooth tone and creative, soaring improvisational style. Joined by some of the finest musicians around, Neil Wetzel's first solo recording is sure to be one of those you keep coming back to!

Love it
Catchy Album title goes with the catchy music that swings with the best of them. Love the variety and the style that Misunderestimated brings. I heard Basie influences in Jumpin The Shark and enjoyed the Latin Salsa in Rosalita d' el Fuego. " Don't Know" took me to a Sunday in New York in Spring Time. No doubt a CD you can pop in the player and let play from beginning to end. Worth a listen.
