The lyrics of the mid-tempo song, was written from Nella-Joi's own struggles with procrastination and her determination to maximize her potential, live her best life, not leave any of her gifts unopened and talents unused and mission to help as many people as possible, to do the same.

The song is a creative collaboration of Atlanta-based singer/songwriter and independent recording artist, Nella-Joi and Atlanta-based musician, producer and independent recording artist, Q Coleman. Just Do It! is the first single to be released on Nella-Joi's CD, and offers listeners a smooth groove with a memorable hook, which will have people joyfully singing along and taking action on realizing their dreams!
