Album Notes
Many years ago Nemo James turned his back on a successful career as a London session guitarist in order to concentrate on songwriting. His extraordinary life experiences since then have led him to a unique style of acoustic based music and the publication of his autobiography, Just A Few Seconds.

The Minstrel is an album which fuses country, folk and blues with poetic lyrics.

Great album, Nemo!
A few years ago I had the pleasure of hearing Nemo play live in Croatia, and I was amazed by his guitar playing skills. He mostly played version of other artists songs, among them a beautiful version of Bob Dylan's "Don't think twice.." And here I am, listening to a album filled with beautiful music and great lyrics, and all of it created by Nemo James! And his voice are even better now than the last time I heard him sing. I have heard through the album several times (even when I'm out jogging), and for the moment my favourite tracks are "The Minstrel" and "I hated what I found". Strongly recommended!! Keep up the good work, Nemo!

Bravo Nemo!
first saw Nemo when I was working at the Hilton in Dubai; me and my mates would all go drinking in the bar, at first just to see him play guitar – we couldn’t believe how good he was and how versatile, switching from classical to jazz to rock to even Ragtime sometimes within the same half hour. Then he impressed all of us with his power to interpret classic hit songs, and one day he started to introduce his own material, which showed a refreshing uniqueness. When I saw he had launched a new album on-line I quickly signed on and ordered it. I love all the tracks and especially “Dreamer on The Run, Forbidden Fruit, and I hated what I found”. Above that, I feel that the melodies and lyrics on tracks like “The Poet”, “Marie”, “The Minstrel” and “A Simple Love Song” are truly exceptional. Bravo Nemo!
