Dangerously Addictive

by Neverfriend

The dark social theme persists in Neverfriend’s album “Dangerously Addictive”. Refined with a sharper edge and a higher level of intensity, “Dangerously Addictive” is an aggressive and emotionally charged ride and will leave you wanting more.

Album Notes
Strong vocal melodies, hard hitting sound, and honest-to-the-bone songs about pain, strength, and survival...this is Neverfriend.

Based on personal experiences, in their latest album; "Dangerously Addictive", Neverfriend has refocused their song writing direction to illustrate heart-felt topics, like addiction, abuse, pain, and survival with more gut-wrenching honesty than ever.

Some songs are inspired by real individuals as in the case of "Chick Is So High"; a drug addict alcoholic single mother of one who can't stay clean. Surrounded by sickness and addiction, she tries desperately to maintain the perfect appearance, barely able to hold down a job and drive between the lines.

Other songs such as "Faker" describe tales of deceit known far too often by women who want to desperately believe what the hot guy in front of them is telling them. But after the steam and passion have dissipated along with the liar, she is left with gaping wounds to her self esteem and integrity. "Faker" is for those women who have fallen victim to this temporary "love trap" and have had enough.

Driven by strong vocal melodies and alternative rock, metal, and punk influences, "Dangerously Addictive" is a breath of fresh air for those that suffer under the weight of unhealthy relationships, abuse, addiction or sick behavior in general.

Hope is never lost......
