Album Notes
It was in spring 2004 that Miguel Sarazin (Guitar) and Samuel Jeanson (Guitar) created Never Hit Again, after a couple of tries with other common bands. Alexandre Bédard (Bass) and Julien Domingue (Drums) soon came in to complete the formation which had a modest beginning playing, like a lot of other newborn bands, an awful lot of covers of their favourite bands. The four-piece recorded a home-made demo, and then a first EP named «It’s not an option, it’s just a wise choice» in 2006. Not very long after that, after two years as a four-piece, the band welcomed Louis-Charles Berthiaume (that they had met in shows with his old band Lowfat) as their new singer. They immediately made four new songs that they recorded for a Split record with the bands Jim Bros and Still Alive, which was extremely well received by the audience and pushed them to keep making some more new songs. After a year and a half of intensive composition, recording pre-productions and making a whole bunch of shows, Never Hit Again just released their first fourteen-song LP, in March 2009. They will tour extensively in the summer of 2009 to support their new album with their good friends Twenty Big Mistakes. With more than a hundred shows under their belt, Never Hit Again have an explosive presence on stage and are renowned not only for their exceptional musicianship, but also for their particular sense of humor. A lot of big projects are engaged, and Never Hit Again is a young band to keep a very close eye onto...
