ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With guidance from the Board of Directors and the Music Director, and with the support of the parents of orchestra members, the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra (NBYO) provides young musicians throughout Nw Brunswick an opportunity to build their musicianship by learning and performing orchestral music.

The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra, founded in 1965, is made up of specially selected and talented young people of New Brunswick. The NBYO has more than 70 musicians, between the ages of 12 and 22. All are up-and-coming, dedicated musicians, many of whom further their musical studies at universities and conservatories. Some go on to teach and perform as professional musicians. The NBYO and the dedication of these performers significantly contribute to the performing arts in New Brunswick. The NBYO, with its diverse repertoire and outstanding performances, has delighted audiences throughout the province.
