ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"New Old Stock" is the jazz/rock fusion vehicle of guitarist and composer Richard Franklin. Influenced by such guitarists as Jimi Hendrix, Pat Metheny, Larry Carlton, Eric Clapton and the Allman Brothers, "Sunflower" showcases a variety of jazz and rock styles.

Rooted in jazz, rock and pop tradition, "New Old Stock" still does not sound quite like anyone else. This music is original -- maybe even a bit challenging -- while still being very listenable. You will enjoy this CD on first hearing, but will want to also put it on again and again.

"Sunflower" will also give you more than your money's worth -- A full hour of music with no "filler" -- great tunes, tight arrangements, and first rate playing. Check it out for yourself -- every tune is available for your preview. Check it out -- that's the best way to see that this is a CD you will really want to own.
