Album Notes
The long time principal euphonium player of the New York Staff Band, Aaron Vanderweele joins with the band for a recording of solos especially chpsen by him for this occasion. Included on this recording are old favorites like “Song of the Brother” as well as items especially for this project like “Shadowed” by Dorothy Gates. Aaron is also joined on the cd by the principal cornet of the NYSB, Gordon Ward, when they join forces for “Joyous Service” by Kevin Norbury.
