Nicole Gordon

"Her voice is arguably one of the strongest and most soulful in the city of Angels"
Performing Songwriter Magazine

Nicole grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA the 5th child out of 8. She started singing at the age of 7 and got her first professional gig the next year. She first studied voice under Russell Faith (Andrea McArdel) and then went to Temple University and studied Jazz Vocal Performance.

In Los Angeles, Nicole emerged on the scene as a singer, songwriter, and session vocalist. She works regularly with Emmy Award winning and nominated composers Ernest Troost and Blake Neely on film and television projects along with numerous other composers and songwriters on library music and commercials. She recently co-wrote & recorded with legendary songwriter Gerry Goffin on some new tunes and he gave her the sign of approval, “I think you have a great career ahead of you!” She continues to record for Gerry and recently had the pleasure of recording for Gerry Goffin and Mike Stoller, of Leiber & Stoller fame.

Nicole appeared as the singing voice of "Madison" on the Warner Bros show "EVERWOOD" for 4 episodes and her songs can be heard nationwide on television shows, commercials, satellite, public, & college radio, Itunes, and in Regal Cinema's. She continues to write with composers & songwriters on film and TV projects and play live shows in southern California.

She has had the great fortune to work with some of the best musicians in the world such as:

Jim Keltner (John Lennon, Simon & Garfunkel), Barry Goldberg (Bob Dylan, Electric Flag), Gerry Goffin (Natural Woman, Saving all my love for you), Mike Stoller (Stand by Me, Hound Dog), Gary Mallaber (Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison), Johnny Lee Schell (Bonnie Raitt, Melissa Etheridge), Paul Barrere (Little Feat), Bob Glaub (Tracy Chapman, Leonard Cohen), Hutch Hutchinson (Bonnie Raitt), John Hall & Lance Hoppen (Orleans), Todd Nichols, Randy Guss, & Dean Dinning (Toad the Wet Sprocket), Kevin Jarvis (Grant Lee Phillips), & Duane Jarvis (Lucinda Williams).

“’Songs of Shiloh’ is an emotionally affecting cycle of pop songs with pure melodic appeal and lyrical specificity. There’s the shivery beauty of Gordon’s voice, which echoes that of Sarah McLachlin and Kris Delmhorst.” - Bliss - Pasadena Weekly

All My Change
Having met Nicole a few years ago, this album definitely reflects the progress in her writing and singing. She is on her way to much success.

Nicole Gordon has once again done it, This artist has to be one of the strongest artists out there yet no record label has had the courage to see the amazing talent this woman has. It makes me almost cry when you see loosers like Britnay Spears make it when she has no talent, and artist like Nicole Gordon have to still be in the back wings. WAKE UP AMERICA THIS IS TRULY MUSIC, Her voice is stong and powerful, with such clarity she could sing any genre and any style! If you miss out on the chance to buy this CD your loosing the oppertunity to hear one of the best artists of our time.

Super Star
I bought the first CD for a friend of mine from Ohio who is a rocker. He ended up listening to Nicole all weekend. Her voice is so great, it changes the way people think about their own taste in music.
I am still singing along.
