Award winning, singer/songwriter Nick Granato continues to evolve. As a songwriter Nick has had over 250+ songs recorded, with 44 charted singles by some of music’s top names. His music has been utilized by The U.S. Olympic Committee, The United Way, Ocean’s First, and The State of Florida to name a few. As a performer Nick has played a myriad of venues from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville TN, & the Bottomline in NYC to the Seminole Hard Rock Café & Casino in Hollywood FL and the Atlantis on Grand Bahama Island. With 2 critically acclaimed CD’s under his belt, Nick evolves yet again as he journeys into the mire of the social and political issues we face as a culture with his latest release “Outside the Lines”. Armed with songs that wield an uncompromising attitude; Nick Granato delivers them with a passion and authority that can only be accomplished with a life of experience.

Nick’s message is urgent, his music is far-reaching, and his hope, to provoke positive change. What will you find when you listen? Besides being entertained… Maybe yourself!

Nick is currently on an international promotional tour!

What They're saying;

Lee Griffith/New Signs Post - Exceptional songwriting, top notch musicianship with a very strong delivery - I liken Nick Granato to a modern day Bob Dylan, and those are some big words I don’t use very often, Outside The Lines is awesome!

Donna Seigal/OUT Here Magazine - With each song I was drawn into Nick’s personal journey, I was left questioning if I could do more in the world to cause change - I loved it, totally effective!

Kendall Welton/QT-Network - After hearing the first song on his new CD Outside The Lines, I knew Nick Granato was not just another wannabe. There was something special here. While I was listening, three of my associates gathered by my office drawn in by the music (which is a rarity). A group vote indicated a winner, 4 out of 4 thumbs up. We review 200+ submissions a week and the staff is still humming some of the songs off this CD. The music is so well executed, not overdone, but the songwriting is stellar. It’s obvious why Nick Granato is “award winning”. You can hear his conviction, and sense his heart; you can even feel his words reaching out. We’ve already decided to host Nick Granato for a concert here sometime in the near future.
Picks: Everyone chose and these were the consensus - What Is Love, No More Stones, My Ordinary Life, Everybody Has A Heart, Who I Am.

*EDITORS PICK - VOL#101 - March 2007 Edition
I've been watching Nick Granato since he received the Song Folk Journal's 2005 Horizon Award by our readership. The truth is you never know what direction an artist will take. I received my copy of Nick's latest CD "Outside the Lines", I must say that I was a little taken back because it was not what I expected. Nick's previous releases have had an islandy, Florida style, Buffettesque feel. This CD was far from it. A straight forward Folk/Rock offering, Nick clearly has evolved to another level. Even Nick's vocals have changed for the better. Evolving seems to be the thread that runs through the CD. Social, cultural, personal and political change is on Nick's mind. The musicianship is outstanding, graphics are eye catching, but the songs are astounding, each one of them. I've listened with the lyrics in front of me and I was truly moved. "Outside The Lines" could very well be the catalyst that brings Nick Granato to the musical forefront. I believe this is his best work to date, and one of my favorites in my personal collection. Watch this guy!
Song Picks; In This Human Race, My Ordinary Life, No More Stones, Who I Am

Allison Campbell/Listener Review - Nick Granato outshines himself on this CD. The music is wonderful and will touch your mind, heart, and spirit. You will want to listen to every song over and over again. I listen to it everyday. He takes life to a higher, but very true level. Just give it a listen, I promise you will love it. Once again this CD is showing the incredible talent he has. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. GREAT job Nick!!!

This CD lives in my Car Stereo
I have told everyone I know about this CD! Nick Granato is a genuine artist and a prolific songwriter. Outside The Lines peels back the layers of life and humanity exposing the raw emotion of life and living. I feel every song. You can tell Nick has written his heart in every note. My favorite songs, My Ordinary Life, Who I Am, Purple Conspiracy and Everybody Has A Heart. This music lives on my car stereo!

A Lot Of Life Behind Each Song
I guess you can say that I was warned. I read about the CD online before I bought it, I‘d even heard a couple of songs from it. Nick said he wanted to “leave us thinking” – well that’s what he did. I haven’t stopped thinking about it, or singing songs from it. What a great CD! Not run of the mill fluffy ear candy, but real songs, with genuine heart and soul, songs that really mean something. I can’t tell you how amazed I was, and still am! The messages are so strong and poignant. Nick’s vocals were very convincing, again they come from deep in his heart, and it’s obvious. You can sense there is a lot of life behind each song! I say download it, buy the CD, listen close and learn! My favorite songs are Color Outside The Lines, No More Stones, Waiting On The Sun and Who I Am!

Music With Something to Say!
I love music; I listen to all kinds all day long. I am particular about the quality, and what it says. Nick Granato "Outside The Lines" surpasses all my expectations. I have never met Nick, but I heard his music on a local radio show.I purchased myself a copy. I figured if I liked 3 of the 13 songs it would be worth it. I can tell you with all honesty I don't skip any song. I don't know if it's the passion in the delivery, the prolific songwriting, the recording, it just moves me. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who likes music that has something to say. My favorite songs - My Ordinary Life, No More Stones, Who I Am and Purple Conspiracy.

Something Important
"Outside the Lines" is basically a musical editorial. The music reaches out and breaks down your guard and the lyric moves in and embeds itself into your conciousness. After a while you think about what's being said, even when you're not thinking about it. I'm amazed at how easy Nick does it. Masterfful songwriting and excellent delivery, I absolutely love this CD! I love this music
Anytime music reached beyond just entertainment, you have my attention. This CD did just that. I heard one song - Color Outside The Lines - , and it made me want ot hear another, next thing I knew I had listened to all of it, I did a digital download, and then decided I wanted the physical CD as well. I love this music, Nick Granato is an artist in every sense of the word, not to mention a excellent songwriter. I can't wait for his next CD.

Something extremely special
Aloha from Hawaii! I was moved by this CD. Outside The Lines is something extremely special. As I listened I read the liner notes Nick had written. Each song contains a piece of his heart. I heard the plea for change, tolerance and respect. I identified with every song, I even was nearly brought to tears by the song "Who I Am" which so reflected my life I could have written it. I don't think I have a favorite, each song inspires something different. I recommend to everyone to get a copy and listen. This CD is among the best I've ever owned! Thanks Nick.

Incredible Talent!
Thanks to a write up on Planet Out, I learned about this artist. I was completely blown away by this CD and his talent at song writing. I not only bought this CD, after hearing it I went back and bought his two earlier ones.

Powerful and Honest
I learned about Nick's music from a friend who seemed a bit too eager to share it with me. I thought he had gone a little overboard about his enthusiasm for this guy. Not to be rude, I borrowed the CD and it sat in my car for like a
week. I decided to listen so I could at least say I did. I truly did not expect to like it, but I was wrong, I loved it! From beginning to end and back again. The music was great, the lyrics were powerful and honest, what a talent. I had
to buy my friend another CD because I wouldn't give this one back. My Favorite songs are "In This Human Race", "Everybody Has A Heart" and "Purple Conspiracy" I'm now that over-enthusiastic Nick Granato fan, I think we call ourselves Flockers!

Outside of the Ordinary!
I own this CD, and Outside The Lines is Outside the Ordinary! I know it might sound a bit corny, but it's true. I've been a Nick Granato fan for a long time, I own his other CD's, and this is by far his best work to date. It's hard to decide if it's rock or folk or country, it really doesn't matter, it's great. Nick has had a metamorphisis of sorts, you can actually hear the colors! Nick's lyrics are so strong and the musicianship lacks for nothing. My favorite songs are Color Outside The Lines, My Ordinary Life, Waiting On The Sun and Who I Am.
