Album Notes
Nick LeDuc performed all instruments on this album : Drums-Guitar-Bass-Keys-Hand percussion-Vocals
All songs written by Nick LeDuc

The song “ZBurg” on this album was written and will be used for a movie series self titled ZBurg written and directed by Mark Valley set to be released June 2018. Written about Nicks hometown this is really letting the listener get a short glimpse of Ogdensburg New York through his own personal experiences. Big thanks to Mark Valley for having Nick be a part of this movie series and everyone involved that helped make this entire thing possible.

“Flash” was written after Nick was involved in a really bad car accident that had him bed ridden for months. When he finally came around to being healthy enough to hold the guitar he (while in a wheelchair) went in his own personal studio and wrote Flash as a way to deal with his trama.

Big thanks to all his sponsors and supporters over the years :

The Americana singer-songwriter has upcoming performances scheduled in Victor, Rochester, Ontario and Geneva

Nick LeDuc, a Victor-based musician known for his eclectic music style, will be coming through Upstate New York, playing at several local venues before planning a national U.S. tour later this year.

Initially performing under the name Last Note, LeDuc later decided to use his own name for the band, as an “Americana/singer-songwriter,” with plenty of musical skills to match. Having written all of the songs himself, LeDuc is also known for playing the piano, drums, guitar, and mandolin in each of his many performances. His musical style is equally chameleonic, alternately being described as “refined rock-groove” with other influences coming from reggae, country and rock genres.

However, for LeDuc, there’s more than music which influences him.

“I think I write and learn from everything around me,” he said. ”... I write from my heart and speak words of truth. It’s my release, my therapy.”

Having relocated to Rochester for his music career, LeDuc still enjoys performing in his hometown, calling it “one of my favorite places to return to play, because that’s where I started ... the love they give me up there is greatly appreciated.”

LeDuc first decided upon playing music as a profession in 2007, beginning with a collection of bandmates who played in the Rochester area, appearing on several radio stations, including WBER FM, WRUR FM, and 98.9 The Buzz. LeDuc then began a yearlong rebranding effort, still playing with different people and line-ups while remaining a solo musician. In March 2012, LeDuc signed his first record deal with the Tate Music Group, allowing him to release the album “Last Note HighWays” in June 2013, with a second album, titled “Nick LeDuc Unfiltered” due for release in early 2016.

Given all of this work, one might find it exhausting to perform in front of live crowds several nights a month, but LeDuc sees it a different way.

“I love the interaction with the crowd; it’s what drives the show and makes it what it is,” he said. “If the crowd isn’t reacting, they might not get the show they came to see.”

Due to his passion for the music he plays, LeDuc is looking forward to the years ahead.

“Music is like a fine wine for someone who performs all the time,” LeDuc said. “With age it just gets better, you never stop growing. That’s the fascinating part of this work.”
