Album Notes
I grew up listening to all different kinds of music, never limiting myself to only one or two genres. I enjoy listening to everything from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to Metallica to Tupac to Michael Jackson. I could only listen to music for so long before I felt there was something lacking. Every artist would hit a plateau where their music became irrelevant to how I was feeling. Upbeat music would feel unrealistic, sad music would drain my energy, pop music can at times be very unintelligent, and heavy metal would give me anxiety. I wanted an artist who would make music that related to all of my emotions. As a human, my emotions are constantly changing; I'm not happy all of the time, and I'm not upset all of the time either. Usually, I'm a mixture of happy and sad. Most artists only make music that ties to one or two specific emotions, and no human only experiences one emotion. So I decided to make an album that celebrates all of the human emotions as a whole, that celebrates the very essence of what it means to be a human being.

The artist who designed my cover art is Antonio Cruz. He is not a performing artist.

My debut EP, "Prisoner of My Mind", was more focused on getting over a broken relationship and dealing with personal issues (can be found on CDBaby as well). On "Cognitive Disordenance", I explore many aspects of humanity including fear, guilt, civil rights, resilience, belief in extraterrestrial beings, and relief. I even have a song that is dedicated to what I personally believe is the greatest video game of all time; Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (the song is called "Melody of Time").

My vocals and instrumental skills have improved significantly since my first EP. I have written and scrapped many, many songs before settling on the ones recorded in this album. I was once an English major at a university, and I also took a poetry course at a local community college. I have spent years honing my songwriting skills, and the only thing I can really say is that good art can't be forced. It's something that simply flows out. I hope you enjoy my work and I thank you for giving it a chance.
