ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Somewhere back in the 70's, 12 years old and playing in his first rock band, Nick Piunti quickly realized the combination of electric guitars, crashing drums and screaming girls was about all anyone needed in this world.

Now an adult with two screaming girls of his own, Nick's passion for creating three minute power pop classics shines through on his self titled release.

Recorded with veteran producer-engineer Pete Bankert and featuring the white hot guitar work of Joey Gaydos, "Nick Piunti" marries the pop sensibilities of Nick's songs with a straight ahead rock and roll approach. The strength of the songs on "Nick Piunti" is what distinguishes this from so many independent releases. While covering familiar ground, Nick's unique voice brings a new perspective to the world of guitar pop rock.

Well done
Nick does a great job of keeping your interest with solid music and thoughtful lyrics. Not one of those overproduced/highly digitized compilations that we're used to hearing these days. It's a refreshing dose of what good music is, what it can be and what it used to be!
