Album Notes
The title "Something New" was brought to me by my dear friend Geoff Davin as he embarked upon writing his first musical and asked that I join him the songwriting process. The song ended up being the emotional climax in the show The First Church of Mary which made it's debut at The New York Musical Theater Festival the summer of 2016. It also happened to capture a big transitional period in my life and as I recorded my own version of it I got excited about the double entendre. It's been 3 years since my first album release and I am in the process of working on my second LP so I decided to create a "bridge" of material transitioning from my early stylings to what will be my 2017 release.

This series of songs address the love, loss, tension and struggle of being a young, female musician in Music City-falling in and out of love, getting up and starting over again.

I am incredibly grateful to all the writers and players that I consider family who made this EP happen so effortlessly and beyond thankful for your support. Without further ado, I bring you "Something New." It's about time.
