Album Notes
Night Glitter is a Dreamy Psychedelic Synth-pop band from Austin, Tx. The Band consists of John Michael Schoepf (Guitar, Bass Vi, Vocals) and LouLou Ghelichkhani (Synthesizers, Farfisa and Vocals).

The band formed in late 2015 when John Michael and LouLou met at a mutual friends SXSW house party. JM (who has played with Happen-Ins, Roky Erickson, Hayes Carl) was impressed with LouLou’s ability to improvise in multiple languages, as well as her history of being a songwriter, singer and live performer with Thievery Corporation. She has been on several records and has toured the world and back with Thievery Corporation for years now. LouLou and John Michael were very inspired by the combination of their artistic tendencies and quickly began combing through ideas for a record. Soon after playing a few shows around town they started recording their first batch of songs with long time friend, musician and mad scientist Jonas Wilson (The Midnight Stroll).

They met Josh Bleu, who became the perfect addition to the band as a drummer and multi-instrumentalist. Also joining for live appearances is Ricky Ray Jackson (Phosphorescent, Steve Earl)

on pedal steel forming a dense layer of loops and textures.

With all the changes in the world, they also decided to donate all proceeds from a song they wrote, titled “Raised for the War", to an international compilation benefitting Planned Parenthood.

"Ride the Night Glitter Cosmic wave and you will be touched by these genuinely kind souls but also inspired to move forward into the galaxy with a dangerous stride.” KUTXradio
