ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Eighteen months in the making, No Connection’s fifth album is a journey to a new frontier. ‘Red Light Fever’ is a quest to seek out the Holy Grail of making great records, the one that every band has sought since the beginning of Rock’n’Roll time – to capture the energy and power of live music in the often cold, cable tangled laboratory known as the recording studio.

In the creation of this release, the golden rule of what the band term \'KRP\' was applied. This is a tip of the hat to the legendary \'human riff\' Keith Richards, a Rolling Stone who understands what a good \'take\' really is. It isn\'t quantised perfection, it\'s about human soul and feel making it from the hands, feet and throats of the artist onto that unforgiving tape machine. Recording blemishes were forgiven if they were still within \'Keith Richard Parameters\'.

Twelve new songs with live backing tracks, some even with live vocals, are a testament to the UK band’s ten year struggle swimming against the crashing waves of that old shark infested music business.

This new self-produced collection of gutsy, original classic rock demonstrates that the band’s fire is burning brighter than ever. Blazing a trail through the darkness of cynicism and shining for those who have supported the trio.

This one’s for you.
