ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
One of Ireland's treasures, NoCrows have been together for nearly 15 years, finding joy in the musical notes the six-piece manages to compose with ease. The dynamic folk orchestra formed in Sligo's Shoot The Crows, has steadily released quality work over the years with their new album 'Escape' one of their most exciting projects. The band has a history of musical collaborations. Their third album, 'On the Moon', had more than twenty guests including Sharon Shannon, jazz drummer David Lyttle, Greek Oud player Haig Yazdjan and French singer Cali. They have toured around the world, confirming their exhilarating live reputation far beyond Ireland's borders. Audiences have been enthralled with the sheer energy of the band when performing at concerts, a feeling they wanted to hear reflected on a NoCrows album. A band to give their listeners what they want, NoCrows will be releasing their new live album this summer followed by Irish and international concerts to be announced soon. 'Escape' is a combination of fan favourites and new tunes, including collaborations with Lisa Lambe and Martin Tourish, the newest members of the NoCrows-collaborations-club.
