ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"The boys lay down some powerful grooves in tracks like 'Freshtration' and 'Trip To Hell' which has some trippy sounding parts with interesting bass playing. My favorite track is the short, speedy 'All About Me' with its catchy ass sing along chorus. Solid song writing and good production make this worth checking out. I can see these guys getting signed if they keep churning out stuff like this. Good shit, look 'em up."
--- Samuel Adams, review of "Waiting For Nothing" for www.eastcoastromper.com

"NONE MORE EVIL play the type of metal that will whip you into a frenzy. This Long Island based quartet's five-track scorcher has all of the heavy grooves like Godsmack and Disturbed without the cheesy aftertaste. In fact, NONE MORE EVIL's simple yet effective method of laying down steamrolling riffs like the one found in "Blame Me" and merging it with thunderous rhythms displayed in "Hollywood Ending" is a winning formula for certain. When the addition of a screaming madman in the form of vocalist Greg Botty is put into the equation, back away from the carnage. Horned hands should be ready to salute the metal assault of NONE MORE EVIL" ----Mike SOS, review of "Waiting For Nothing" for www.crushermagazine.com

"NONE MORE EVIL's 'Waiting For Nothing' has enough melodic roots mixed in with the standard "Kerrang"-style metal genre to suit audiences on both sides of the rock fence. The first song 'Freshtration' is a solid heavy number that bounces along at a manic pace and has some great guitars as does the next song 'Blame Me'. This is a cool song, a little like Metallica and Anthrax in places, even some Godsmack, very catchy, I love the way the bass rumbles, touches of Saigon Kick in there as well. Touches of Motorhead can be heard on the excellent 'All About Me', while 'Trip To Hell' builds strangely, kinda like a grittier and heavier King's X. Last song on this mini-album is the drum pounding 'Hollywood Ending'. Once again there is some very cool bass thumping going down. This is most definitely the group's best song, an up to date metal/rap song, reminds me of Faith No More crossed with Metallica, this is a very cool song.
NONE MORE EVIL is good, and they can only get better from here. I just hope they keep whatever they do next to the same roots as these songs, more and more modern metal bands can learn something here by not losing the flavor and edge of original heavy metal." ----Nicky Baldrian, review of "Waiting For Nothing" for www.aordreamzones.com

"Their heavy and rhythmic sort of metal can hit the spot. The music is very steady going with each instrument following a very precise scale of rhythm, which is often pounding, making you automatically bang your head. Vocals are very strong too and match the attitude of the music. Most of the songs are mid-paced but then they speed up a bit with 'All About Me.' Every song has a high, tense energy that makes the whole album come across heavy and power-laden... Every time I play it I don't seem to mind it at all... I can't find any faults at all." ----review of "Waiting For Nothing" www.fuzzrock.com

Artist: NONE MORE EVIL
Venue: Union Square Lounge, New York
Long Island's kings of demonic pop were at their evil best with a thunderous set of bombastic party anthems, delivering knockout blow after knockout blow. The dangerous tones of "Tomorrow's Song", followed by a heartstomping rendition of "Someone Like You" had the whole place on it's feet and shaking. Frontman, Greg Evil, was in high gear during "Facing Wrong Direction" and "Rise", prowling the stage like a true rock-and-roll soldier.
"Hollywood Ending" was deadly, and Jeff Evil's guitar playing would have made Kim Thayil proud. Next up was "Mindfuck" and "Devil In Your Head", and the music shot through the audience as if the band had just cracked open the Lost Ark. Will Evil's bass was mighty this night, and he really shined on the downtempo "Fluffer". Tom Evil kept the drumming tight all night, long on power, short on fills, masterful cymbalwork, no nonsense. "You No Call Me" was followed by "Freshstration"; Will Evil and Jeff Evil delivered tight backing vocals, while Greg Evil got down with his dipping dance of doom. The showstopper was "Mullet Man" and everybody went for a mustache ride. This song ought to be the new national anthem. Greg Evil gets my vote for President in 2004!

well unfortunately i have to keep it short (at least thats what it says above the box) this cd is simply amazing. the way that it has been produced the order that the songs are put into, everything is just perfectly balanced. the melody and the raw power of it is mindblowing. this cd everyone should have a copy of.

Tired of the same ole song and dance

This is an amazing break from nowadays music
The things you here now whether it be on the radio or here around the island is quite frankly, boring. You have all these bands who sound exactly the same. I breathe a sigh(ahhh) of relief that someone has orginalty! Thank You!
