Album Notes
Creative, exciting, in-your-face large ensemble jazz music. Outstanding ensemble playing and monster solos. Composed and directed by Norman David, one of the top writers on the scene today, and performed by some of Philadelphia's finest players.

The Eleventet is one of the busiest and most respected jazz ensembles in Philadelphia and the region. Norman David has led various versions of the band for over 35 years. The current Philadelphia edition has been on the scene for about 15 years and there will be no letting up. Norman David, who leads, writes all the music for, and plays soprano saxophone in the band, has about 250 charts already in the book—and new music keeps on coming!

The band appears at many venues and events and has also been in residence at Plays and Players Theater in center city Philadelphia for almost 7 years. This home base presents Norman David and The Eleventet twice monthly every season, which runs from September to May. The band also does one concert during the summer at the theater. Norman David and The Eleventet has garnered a loyal following that is continually growing.

The music is unique, the energy is amazing—and Norman David and The Eleventet will blow your faces off!
