ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Chet Baker was a famous jazz trumpet player who came to prominence in the early 1950's. It turned out that not only was he a great trumpet player but he had a smooth, simple and honest vocal delivery. Even though he produced almost 200 CD's in his career, he only recorded about 40 vocals. Most of them were originally recorded in the early 1950's along with his unique trumpet playing. Twenty of these jazz vocal songs were released around 1989 under the name "Let's Get Lost: The Best of Chet Baker Sings". Over the past eight years, I have produced 8 vocal jazz CD's. In every one of them I have included at least one Chet Baker vocal standard from the 1950's. Since both my voice and the music arrangements of these songs are so similar to that of Chet Baker, I have compiled these various tracks into one 20 song CD which I believe captures the vibe and essence of Chet Baker. Hopefully, the thousands of Chet Baker fans around the world will recognize and appreciate Chet Baker Revisited.
