ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Their artistic blend of folk is met with a cutting edge, that places them above and beyond the rest. Norwood is a delightful treat for your ears, that will entice and enlighten with each and every listen." -PASTE Magazine

"Overall, Norwood's 'Notes To My Blood' is a phenomenal record that has no equal in today's music world. The beautiful vocals and story-driven lyrics remind this author of a very 90's rock vibe, while the acoustic sound of the music reminds one of a late 70's to early 80's acoustic rock concert that one never wants to leave." -On Request Magazine

"Every day run of the mill folk music, this is not. Give them a listen and Norwood might just change everything you thought you knew or have been told about indie folk rock." -Indie Minded

I would say that my music is for the middle children of culture. The people who are constantly being told what’s cool and how they should think. These songs are for the people who take life on a person-by-person basis instead of lumping people into easily marketable groups, cliques, races, social classes, genders, whatever. This music is for anybody who feels pinned down by a thousand voices coming from all directions telling them they aren’t good enough for any of a million bullshit reasons. Fuck that.
