Album Notes
"For Christmas" is the fourth album from internationally acclaimed Bossa Nova act, Nossa Bossa Nova. The CD takes you on a joyous ride through the streets and mountains of Brazil, in the comfort of your favorite traditional Christmas songs. From the smooth Bossa Nova sound of O Little Town of Bethlehem to the pulsing samba of the opening track, O Come All Ye Faithful, through the jazzy O Holy Night, Nossa Bossa Nova's "For Christmas" is a musical celebration to be enjoyed by all this holiday season. The combination of your favorite Christmas melodies, Brazilian rhythms, and Portuguese lyrics, makes for a unique sound that is both exotic and familiar.

“For Christmas” features the same top-notch musicians and production that make the first three albums such a pleasure to listen to. Vocalist Theresa Levy is joined by her husband/producer Mike Levy, who also lends his hand to the bass and percussion duty. Joining them is noted saxophonist, Brice Winston, on flute and soprano sax.
