Album Notes
NOTENUFF (Tyheim Brown) resides in the small hamlet of Tyner, North Carolina (pop: 1,100) and is one of the most distinguished artists, writers, rhymers, and musician of NE North Carolina. With influences ranging from Kanye West to the Black Keys, NOTENUFF’s “sound” (as it is often referred to as) is indescribable. With the help of local musician and recording engineer, Wilson Greene, of Ferdi Industries and a talented young videographer, Tyler Reinhold, NOTENUFF has a started a Lilliputian, yet increasingly growing, rap renaissance. “Kids and Kolours”, NOTENUFF’s first studio album, is a concept album that revolves around the central idea that all humans are children, no matter their age. Age is simply a man-made device used to measure how old a child is. Around this concept, NOTENUFF focuses on how, as kids, all humans have thousands of feelings, emotions, and motives; these feelings, emotions, and motives are the “colors” of all children. Within “Kids and Kolours” NOTENUFF shows how kids can gain and lose different colors over time through foreign influence, traumatic experiences, and major changes in life. Overall, this debut album is masterpiece in its own. Be sure to purchase your own copy on this site or digitally through iTunes, Amazon, etc. Be looking out for a new album from NOTENUFF soon!
