ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Call It Joy," Novare Music's first album, is a compilation of songs written by Renee Allsbrook, classically trained pianist and songwriter. Each song on the album tells a story of its own, from those highlighting the preciousness of children, to the love song written as a 15th anniversary gift, to the song about South Sudan, to the myriad songs which sprung from brushes with spiritual realities. Simple and yet profound, songs on this album will linger with you and draw you to a place and time outside of the world your eyes can see, and offer a bit of peace in a frenetic world. Piano, violin and vocals are the simple tools on these tracks, which, peaceful as they are, combine with deeply moving lyrics to act as catalysts and motivators rather than lullabies.
